Distribute Teams Enabled With Technology Driven Behavior Patterns

January 23rd, 2009

There are many patterns emerging in technology that will enable teams to become completely distributed. These tools will pave the way for an elite scrum teams to emerge that dynamically adjust to members, joining, leaving and enabling teams. One such technology for this are our teams that reach out and touch each other.

A model of dependence - codependence - independent

is now foreseeable. These models can be tracked and encourage unique habit and behavioral patterns that allow teams to develop smarter interoperable protocols for collaboration. The combined solutions will come from, rooms, video, instant messaging, room dialog, email and more. A convergence of these enabling technologies are ready to manifest new social dynamics in the work place.

Overview

This intense interactive training workshop focuses on Scrum?s Product Owner role, which focuses on visioning, roadmapping, and user stories.

Scrum is a proven lean and agile approach to delivering results, a simple ?inspect and adapt? framework used to organize work for maximum efficiency and effectiveness using three roles, three ceremonies, and three artifacts wherein stories express requirements and tasks express work.

While the Product Owner role is conceptually simple and involves a few guidelines, the role emphasizes a particular mindset. Many product owners enact the role, but don?t readily internalize the mindset, and thus don?t experience the benefits of the role.

This workshop not only provides participants with the skills for creating compelling visions, actionable roadmaps, and useful requirements using agile techniques, but it also gives participants practical hands-on experience applying these techniques throughout the workshop. Participants will be introduced to agility and create a vision, roadmap, and work with user roles, user stories, and acceptance tests.

?

This is not mere presentation-based training but a workshop using experiential learning (learning by doing, including robust simulations and discussions). It is facilitated by active practitioners with decades of real-world industry experience, which is used to highlight and expose participants to many common pitfalls. Experiential learning techniques are used to illustrate key concepts in a comprehensive manner that is interactively tailored to the participants? particular needs. Participants will not only gain a foundational understanding, but will also gain practical insight around the nuances of putting the techniques into practice to maximize results.

About Us
Through a comprehensive offering of training, coaching, and consulting services, 3Back will guide your organization to a new level of business perception and action.

Product is Developed by People
The problem with product development is not motivation - your team works hard. The problem is not workload - there is enough capacity. Repeatedly, we observe hard-working teams that just cannot seem to apply their collective skills in the right ways.

At 3Back we believe in human-powered methodologies for developing complex products such as software systems. Our primary focus is on helping teams apply their effort more effectively. We train and coach on Agile development, with an emphasis on the importance of engaging the human side of the equation.

Better teams make better products, faster.

We make teams better.

Certified ScrumMaster
?Understand Scrum? ?? Use Agile Metrics and Reports ?? Apply Adaptive Planning

This event will be delivered by two instructors,

?one is bilingual (Spanish & English) the other speaks English.

Who Should Attend and Prerequisites
This course is suited for people who have experience being on development teams or are faced with complex product/project development efforts. Individuals from all levels of the corporate structure who deal with rapidly changing demands and complex efforts. Managers, Testers, PM, Analysts, Developers,?directors, C-level functions

Participants should have some practical work experience working with agile methods?or framework of PMBOK or similar exposure. This is not suitable for people with little to no work history.

Why?product owner, scrummaster and team
Agile project management is as radically different from traditional project management as agile processes are different from traditional methodologies. Rather than plan, instruct and direct, the agile project manager facilitates, coaches and leads. In the agile framework known as Scrum, this person is called a ScrumMaster to denote the difference and remind the person filling this role of their new responsibilities. Accepted course participants learn how to be a ScrumMaster and how to make a development team, a project, or an organization agile. The ScrumMaster is responsible for the proper execution of the Scrum framework, and manages the resulting changes within the organization. Exercises, case studies, simulations and experiences are used throughout the course to bring home the realization of how Scrum can work. We will also show how the roles of ScrumMaster, Product Owner and Team form a critical tripod for effective agile development. All participants are expected to understand Scrum basics prior to attending this course.

Why 3Back?
It is vital that today?s agile practitioners be able to retain what they have learned and apply it to their jobs. Our training leverages modern adult learning with both robust simulations and discussion. We train so that participants can put the ideas presented to practical use:? your results are our validation
